1. Know your route – Indeed, Maps services on the internet have made things easy these days, but it is also essential to be aware of any rough patches on the route and consider another route if you are in a hurry.
2. Have a playlist prepared – If you want your favourite music to be played back to back, make sure that you prepare the list before hand so you don’t end up searching for a long time after every track.
3. Check your vehicle before you begin – The most important part of your journey is your vehicle, which needs to be in top condition before you head for a long journey. Make sure you have enough air in the tyres along with a complete checkup of the vehicle. Carry an air pump and a jack with your vehicle in case of an emergency.
4. Carry essentials – Make sure that you are carrying all the essentials like the toilet paper, tissues, bottled water, packaged snacks and a torch.
5. Do not have unessential stops – Do not stop at places where you think might waste your time. As far as possible continue on your journey as it will help to reduce your travel time.
6. Carry a car charger – Make sure that you have a car charger with you as you don’t want to run out of battery when you are middle of no where, especially when you are relying completely o the Maps services online. These applications drain a lot of battery.
