Updated Trends: Michael Schumacher Thinking Of Quitting Formula 1 Says Eddie Jordan
It has been reported by BBC’s sports journalist, Eddie Jordan, that, Michael Schumacher will be quitting Formula 1 at the end of the current season. It seems that it is time for the 41 year old German driver who has spent almost more than one and half decade on the tracks, racing, to take a step out towards retirement.

Currently, he has teamed up with Mercedes, with a three year contract from last winter after making a comeback from his temporary retirement. But Mercedes on the other hand has stated that there is no change in the drivers for the next season. Even Schumacher’s spokeswoman, Sabine Kehm has stated that he has no plans of quitting as such.
According to the race experts, they have witnessed that after Schumacher made a comeback last year, he has not being performing as well as he used to do. Specially the driving conditions of the Mercedes and the tyres used by Formula1 this year. He is also outperformed by his team mate, Nico Rosberg consistently.
