Stop what you’re doing and listen up! The Emperor and Empress seem to be in an Empire State Of Mind – in a post on her Instagram account, Beyoncé confirmed that she is pregnant, and with twins no less.
In a beautiful photograph, the Hold Up singer is seen in mismatched lingerie and a light green veil as she kneels down among gorgeous flowers strewn about and encircling her hair. And what is most prominent is her protruding stomach that shows she’s well underway being pregnant. She captioned the image with: “We would like to share our love and happiness. We have been blessed two times over. We are incredibly grateful that our family will be growing by two, and we thank you for your well wishes. – The Carters”
This means that Bey and Roc Nation boss and rapper, Jay-Z (real name: Shawn Carter) are going to be welcoming two bundles of joy this year. How awesome is that?! They are one blessed family, with everything good coming abundantly and bubbling over. Within minutes of the post, social media has blown up and the photo already received over 1.5 million likes within 30 minutes (and counting).

Beyoncé has had difficulty being able to conceive in the past. In a private interview with talk show host, Oprah Winfrey, she had expressed her immense sadness on a miscarriage she had while five months pregnant. Since then, she and Jay had been trying to conceive, and finally they were blessed with a daughter, the pretty little Blue Ivy Carter, who at the age of 5 has already made a red carpet appearance with her mommy and also starred in her video for Formation.
Adding two more members to the Carter empire is so thrilling and we really wish Beyoncé a happy, safe and peaceful pregnancy and ultimate birthing of her twins. We are so excited!
