Updated Trends: Valentino Rossi Shoulder Surgery Successful, Eager To Get Back On The Track
Current Yamaha Moto GP rider, Valentino Rossi has undergone a successful shoulder surgery and now he is eager to get back on the track, to test his new Ducati bike on which he would be racing next year. Rossi had sustained the injury after he fell off an off road bike, which he was riding earlier this year.
Experts stated that it is because of this shoulder injury, his 2010 season has been hampered tremendously, as a reason he has lost lots of points on the rankings table. Another reason his performance has gone down, is because his team mate Jorge Lorenzo has been performing many times better than him on the track.
Dr Alex Castagna and Dr Giuseppe Porcellini, the surgeons who have operated Valentino’s shoulder, have said that it will be taking at least three months for him to recover properly and ride a bike. Rossi is scheduled to test his new Ducati at Valencia early next year.
