Updated Trends: Zulqarnain Haider Was Not Going To Play The Fifth ODI
The Pakistan Cricket Board has stated that absconding wicket keeper, Zulqarnain Haider was not going to play the fifth ODI against South Africa. The PCB had finally managed to come in contact with the player, and it has been reported that he spoke to the PCB Chairman Mr. Ijaz Butt on what he had actually done.
Reports state that he had suddenly flown away from Dubai to the UK just after the match against South Africa, and had stated that he had received death threats for not being fixed for the fourth and the fifth game. In an interview with BBC, he had disclosed that he was approached by a person just before the fourth match, so that he could be fixed, but he refused.
