Updated Trends: Steven Gerrard Takes Full Blame Of Liverpool’s Draw Against Wigan
Liverpool captain, Steven Gerrard has taken full blame of the draw that took place between his team and Wigan, during the game on 10th November. He has accepted that he has a strong role to play in the game last night, which also cost the team a victory. Reports state that he feels guilty about it, and has said that he will fulfill this loss by putting the record straight at Stroke.
Gerrard’s team ended on a 1-1 note on the 10th November, but it was a really frustrating score for him and his team, and since then this has been wiggling in his head. Even though after he had attempted the second shot which smacked the goal bar, as he passed it clean through Maxi Rodriguez, he felt very upset by the goal scored by Wigan.
It was when the captain’s pass went utterly wrong and when the Wingan strikers counterattacked it and converted it into a clean goal, and thus he feels quite responsible about it. He has been working really hard on his team’s performance and with losses as such he wont be taking such things lightly.
