The victim, Bandar Abdullah Abdulaziz, was strangled and beaten by Saud till he died on the 15th of February. It was later known that he was also engaged with this man in a sexual manner, and was abusing him for lengthy period of time.

In a bid to save him from the life term, his mother, who is also the daughter of the King of Saudi Arabia, had to claim a diplomatic immunity for her son. He said that he had a diplomatic passport but the investigating officers have said that they have found none. The murder of Abdulaziz occurred on the 15th of February, when the Prince and the servant had returned from a night out on Valentines Day.
