Trouble in focusing or concentrating on work/studies is common problem that is faced by many. The person suffering from this problem cannot be completely blamed for as with the advancement in technology, there are a number of distractions around people. Under such circumstances and with the presence of such distractions it becomes tough to focus and concentrate. Here we will be sharing a few tips that can help you to improve your focus as well as concentration skills.

1. Make your brain get used to the circumstances – It is not always possible to eliminate all the distractive things around you, which is why you need to train your brain to get used to those distractions and focus on what you are supposed to do at the moment. There are also certain kinds of games that can help in increasing your focus. You can try your hand in Sudoku, jigsaw or crossword puzzles or memory games.

2. Try eliminating the distractions – As mentioned before, it is not always possible to eliminate every possible distraction, but you can at least try giving up a few. For instance, when you are preparing for an exam, you can deactivate your social networking accounts that take away a lot of your valuable time.

3. Meditate – Meditation is one of the powerful tools that trains the mind and increases its capacity. You need not have to dedicate hours in meditation on a daily basis, but just 15 to 20 minutes on a daily basis also helps to train your brain to focus.

4. Physical activity – Make sure that you do not remain a couch potato and remain active. Apart from the morning exercise, also make sure that you are always on the move.

5. Eat healthy – One of the most important factor for the body and mind is the fuel that you put in. Make sure that you consume things that are healthy and does not contain any trans fats which can make you sluggish.
