In the current situation, working from home is the most convenient as well as the safest option. However, working from home has its own set of drawbacks and could lead to a number of problems. There are a number of problems like weight gain or diabetes that the person can suffer from. Working from home means that the person has to remain at home working at a single place and this makes the person prone to certain problems like weight gain. But the good news is, even if you are one of those who is working at home and needs to avoid putting on weight, there are a few easy hacks that can help you to avoid diseases like diabetes and will also help to prevent from weight gain.

1. Eat mindfully – Make sure that you are eating sensibly and not binging on sugary foods and drinks. You need to make sure that you break down the foods in to proteins, fats and carbohydrates. If you are already diabetic, then you need to cut down on sugary or processed foods.

2. Remain active – No matter how many hours you are sitting for work, you have to make sure that you remain physically active. For instance, do not keep a bottle of water by your side, instead get up from your desk every hour and get yourself a glass of water.

3. Plan the meals – Whatever you are consuming, it needs to have a proper structure. You need to avoid oily and junk food, which do no good for the body. Such foods also makes you feel lethargic and makes you unproductive.

4. Get a sound sleep in the night – During the night, make sure that you are getting some good sleep. Avoid taking any kind of medication for making you fall asleep.

5. Avoid stress – Practicing yoga and meditation, will help you to recover from the stress levels that is caused by a number of problems.
