New Year’s Eve is here and this is the time when you need to look at your best. It is a time when you could meet your family members and friends, whether personally or virtually. If you think that you don’t have enough time to go to a detailed spa and get yourself treated outside, there are a few easy home remedies that will make your skin glow like a teenager. Here are few easy home remedies for a glowing skin with ingredients that could be easily available at home.

1. Aloe Vera scrub – Aloe vera is a desert plant that is easily available at any house hold and is also easy to plant. You could mix sugar with aloe vera to make a DIY scrub at home. The sugar granules will help to remove all the dirt from the pores and make your skin feel light and glowing.

2. Turmeric and honey – Mix one teaspoon of honey with two teaspoons of honey to make a paste like consistency. Leave it on the face for nearly 10 to 15 minutes and wash it off with cold water. It is not advisable to use hot water on the face as cold water is the best even for the face as it helps to bring a glow.

3. Yoghurt with gram flour – Mix one teaspoon of gram flour with two teaspoons of yoghurt (non flavoured) to make a paste like consistency. Apply the paste to the face evenly and leave it to rest for at least 20 minutes. Wash it off with cold water. Pat dry.

4. Milk and salt – Now this works like magic and all you need is one spoon of milk with a pinch of salt. Apply the mixture with a cotton ball on the face and leave it overnight. It works like a night cream and you can wash it off with cold water to see visible results with just one application.
