The coronavirus pandemic has made the usage of masks a new normal and an essential part of everyday. Companies are now manufacturing masks as per the taste and preferences. Many countries have made the use of masks as mandatory while stepping out. American media personality and businesswoman Kylie Jenner has launched her range of branded face masks.

The 22 year old model unveiled two face masks made of fabric on her beauty website during the weekend. The face masks which are launched, are non-surgical and reusable and have been priced at $14 each. They are available in black and pink colors on the Kylie Skin website. Kylie who also owns a line of clothing and cosmetic, has embossed her name across the front of one, while the other mask has a pair of red lips printed in the centre.

Majority of her products have got her named embossed on them and the masks are no exception. Kylie has about 180 million followers and on June 12, 2020, the social media personality took her account to promote her new range of face masks. Mother Kris Jenner also took her Instagram account and helped promote the masks. Kris wrote that the new masks could be reused, are washable and come in two cute designs and shared a picture. Though this might be a lucrative business for the model, but the model has received mixed reactions from the fans.

Some of the fans alleged that Kylie was profiting from the pandemic, while another asked if she was giving these away as there are people who could not afford to keep their lights on. The fan also said that it would be a good idea to give away such material who need this. More fans came forward and suggested that she should give these to some organizations. But there were also people who said that the fans, who were angry did not have to buy them if they did not want to.
