Prince Harry and Meghan Markle, as announced earlier have stepped down from their royal duties on March 31, 2020. The couple posted an emotional note on the social media as they officially stepped down. Meghan and Harry after a short stay in Canada will be settling down in America and have assured that they would continue with their charity work despite stepping down as royals. The couple through their post thanked the followers and people for their support and inspiration. Prince Harry and Meghan also urged people to take care of themselves amidst the global coronavirus pandemic.
The couple have a 10 month old son Archie and from march 31, 2020, they will be beginning a new life away from the royal family. The comments section of the post has been switched off. The post added that the world at present seems fragile but they are confident that every human being would come up and make a difference. The couple has also appealed people to support each other in this time of crisis and help to lift each other up.
Prince Harry and Meghan stressed on the importance of health and wellbeing of people across the globe and have also urged people to find solutions to the problems that could be a result of such a pandemic. It was also clarified that they no longer are working with the royal family and would continue to make social contributions. They also added that at present they are concentrating on a new chapter as to how they can vest contribute.
While Harry and Meghan officially signed off, they are expected to unveil their new brand and charity this week and the official announcement is expected to be made on Instagram. The couple is also reportedly looking forward towards different business options to help them live an individual life. Prince Harry and Meghan Markle’s separation from the royal family was first announced in January, 2020.
