Meghan Markle and Prince Harry became parents to a baby boy and named him Archie Harrison Mountbatten-Windsor. The member of the British Royal family has become the seventh in line of succession to the British throne. So far no one knew about the actual birth place of the new royal family member. But after many speculations, the birthplace of Archie Harrison has finally been revealed.

Meghan Markle and Harry’s son was born at the private Portland Hospital in Westminster. The birth certificate of Archie has revealed the details of his birth and was made public on May 17, 2019. A Westminster Registrar’s office representative had went to visit the couple at their home of Frogmore Cottage in Windsor on May 17, 2019 so they did not have to go to the office themselves. A spokesperson for the Portland Hospital said, “Huge congratulations to the Duke and Duchess of Sussex on the birth of baby Archie. For reasons of patient confidentiality, we are unable to provide any comment or information.”

Before the arrival of Archie, the couple had announced that they would like to keep the details around the birth of their child private. But now with the release of the birth certificate, new details have been revealed. Even Victoria Beckham had gave birth at the Portland Hospital and just like Kate Middleton, Meghan is also listed as a Princess of the United Kingdom on the birth certificate. The birth certificate has also mentioned Meghan’s full name as Rachel Meghan Markle. Coincidentally her character on Suits was also named Rachel.

Prince William and Kate Middleton had revealed the registrations of their three children Prince George, Princess Charlotte and Prince Louis. Meghan and Harry did not release the certificate but as a public document, it was always likely to be available. The news has come just before the couple’s first wedding anniversary on May 19, 2019.
