Puerto Rican singer and actor Ricky Martin and husband Jwan Yosef have become parents to a little bundle of joy. Yosef and Martin announced the arrival of a baby girl in to their family. Martin made the announcement through an Instagram post.
The Come With Me singer wrote, “We are beyond happy to announce that we have become parents to a beautiful and healthy baby girl, Lucia Martin-Yosef”. A picture was posted of the baby as the couple held their daughter’s hands. Martin further wrote, “It has been a special time for us and we can’t wait to see where this stellar baby will take us. Both her beautiful brothers and me and [Jwan] have fallen in love with Lucia” Not many details have been revealed about the baby other than the fact that she is healthy.
The announcement was also made in Spanish, which roughly had the same message but added that the family is “grateful to be able to start this 2019 with the best gift we could receive, the gift of life.” The 47 eyar old singer is already a parent to ten year old twin boys Valentino and Matteo. Ricky Martin had in January 2018 revealed that he and his partner Yosef were married. Yosef is a 34 year old artist. The couple was earlier linked in April 2016 and announced their engagement later in the same year.
Martin earned an Emmy nomination earlier in 2018 for his supporting role in the series The Assassination of Gianni Versace: American Crime Story. Ricky and Yosef welcomed their twin sons through a surrogacy in 2008. Martin was earlier in an on and off relationship with Mexican TV host Rebecca de Alba. The relationship had lasted for more than 14 years and the former couple had once also talked about starting a family together. Martin at a point had even considered of proposing her.
