The Champions League T20 South Africa 2010 cricket tournament will begin from the 10th of September 2010. The opening match will be played on the 10th September between, India’s Mumbai Indians and Highveld Lions from South Africa in Johannesburg. Matches will be played between 10 teams belonging from 6 cricketing countries of the world.

The six cricketing countries are India, Australia, New Zealand, South Africa, West Indies and Sri Lanka. It will be a big event for  cricketing fans in the continent of Africa, as this is being held in Africa for the first time in T20 Champions League history.

The matches will be organized in four different venues in South Africa namely – Durban, Johannesburg, Port Elizabeth and Centurion.
