The BeyHive went into overdrive after hearing that Beyoncé finally gave birth to her twins. Her father made the revelation on Father’s Day, as well as his ex wife, Tina Knowles. After tons of speculation on what the baby’s names would be, a leading tabloid has confirmed that Beyoncé and Jay-Z named their new additions – Sir Carter and Rumi Carter.

Applications have already been filed under the United States Patent and Trademark Office. A similar trademark was filed when Beyoncé’s first child, daughter Blue Ivy Carter was born.

Speculation was rife to the due date as well as the gender of the twins. Beyoncé famously dropped out of headlining Coachella, though her last appearance was at the Grammys where she had several nominations for Lemonade. She even did an artistic maternity shoot that saw her gain the most number of likes in the history of Instagram.

The news of her being in labour was intensified after a flurry of activity at a local Los Angeles hospital. Husband Jay-Z and Blue Ivy were also seen around the same time. A guest with a blue and pink balloon also made an appearance that roused the speculation that Beyoncé had delivered a boy and a girl, aka, fraternal twins. No official confirmation has yet come from the influential couple, nor any images released of the twins.

On June 30, Jay-Z dropped his 13th studio album, 4:44, that features lyrics that confirm the cheating allegations against him. In the album, he talks about taking Beyoncé’s “innocence” and only realizing his philandering ways after the birth of their children. He also addresses the miscarriages that she went through, and had also shared with Oprah in an intimate interview.

The Carters are currently residing in a $400,000 monthly rental lavish home after the arrival of their twins.
