Well well well, just incase you thought you would be buying a product or two out of the KKWBeauty range, drop the plan! Because the most anticipated, Kim Kardashian West’s makeup line which released on June 21, 2017 at 9.30 a.m, sold out almost instantly! A whooping 30,000 KKWBeauty Contouring Kits were launched on the website and were all sold out by 9.42 a.m, much to the dismay of many fans and buyers. This is estimated to have made a whopping $14.4 million!
The makeup site consists of Highlight Kits and Crème Contour for $48 each, and are available in 4 different shade combinations. Every kit reposed 2 shades of highlighters, 2 shades of contours and 2 types of blenders. And Kim vows that contouring and highlighting would be made a thousand times easier with her kits. Before releasing her products she even posted a video of Mario Dedivanovic contouring her face using the same kit, and it did seem a lot more simpler.
Standing on the 47th position of Forbes’s 2017 list of 100 highest-earning celebrities, Kim Karadashian is also one of the richest amongst all her siblings. But ut looks like Kylie Jenner’s beauty line now has some tough competition. In case you missed it, model Kylie Jenner launched her own lip kit line in 2016, which was a big hit too.
