5 workouts for a good night’s sleep

    Many people at times can’t get sleep how much ever they try. This happens mostly because of work stress and tensions in life. Many people have been suffering from insomnia and have constantly been looking for a cure. We talk about 5 workout routines that will help you get a goodnight’s sleep easily.

    1.Jogging – Jogging is a great cardiovascular exercise. All you have to do is grab your running shoes and find a safe neighbourhood to jog in.  A jog for half an hour would be a great start to curing your insomnia. Apart from that, jogging is a great way of losing weight as well.

    2. Swimming – Swimming is a great way of beating your stress. You can get into relaxation mode with a nice and energetic swim after a day of hard work in the office. Additionally, swimming is also a cardio exercise that helps you lose weight. And if it’s summer time, swimming becomes the perfect option to beat the heat.

    3. Knee push ups – Weight training are vital when it comes to workouts for sleep. Knee push ups work on your abs, shoulders and biceps. Repeat the exercise 10 to 12 times.

    4. Squats – Squats are an easy exercise that work on your hips and upper thighs. For a better sleeping cycle, do squats either in your home or outside in the backyard to get some fresh air. In order to do this workout routine, stand straight with your feet hip width apart. Lower down your hips as if you are sitting on a chair and stay in that position for a few seconds. Now slowly come back to the previous position. Repeat the exercise 10 to 12 times.

    5. Cycling – Cycling is a fun way of curing your insomnia and toning your legs. While most people choose to go for stationary cycling, it’s better to ride a cycle outside in the neighbourhood to get some fresh air. Half an hour of cycling would be perfect for you to get a good night’s sleep.
