The U.S. Secretary of State, Hillary Clinton, believes that the intelligence establishment of the Pakistan government has thorough knowledge about the whereabouts of the al-Qaeda leader Osama bin Laden; and that he is very much in the country and that Pakistan is sheltering the world’s biggest fugitive.
Clinton, in a warning statement, said that America will not take a sigh of relief until and unless it reaches up to Laden.
Clinton said, “I don’t want to put a proximity or timeline on it (getting bin Laden). As I’ve said, we have gotten closer because we have been able to kill a number of their trainers, their operational people, their financiers. But I won’t be satisfied until we get it done.”
She said that America is trying hard to reach the al-Qaeda leader and that the US has been successful in bridging the gap between Pakistan and US.
