The scientists of Climatic Research Unit (CRU) at the University of East Anjilia can breathe a sigh of relief now. The claims against the scientists who were accused of manipulating data related to global warming have been completely cleared now.
The inquiry revealed that the scientists had not in any way tried to manipulate the results and rest of the data related to global warming., but they were not open enough to disclose things in detail.
Senior civil servant, Sir Muir Russell who conducted the six – month long inquiry in the matter said that the honesty of the scientists was not under scanner. His inquiry revealed that the main data had a free access and that any ‘competent’ researcher’ could use it.
Russell while announcing the results said, “Ultimately this has to be about what they did, not what they said. The honesty and rigour of CRU as scientists are not in doubt … We have not found any evidence of behavior that might undermine the conclusions of the IPCC assessments.”
The controversy had started last year when e-mails of the last 13 years were released.
