Updated Trends: American actor, David Nelson, better known for his role in the 50’s and 60’s daily sitcom, ‘Adventures of Ozzie and Harriet’, died due to suffering complications of Colon Cancer. The veteran actor was 74 years old and he passed away at his residence in Los Angeles, on Monday this week. It was really sad to know about his death as he was the last living member of the Nelson family who appeared in the series.
The US based sitcom ran from the year 1952 to 1966, for almost 14 years and it made a trademark for itself during that era. The sitcom has also been nominated once for an award. His performance and quality of acting had even earned him a star at the Hollywood Wall of Fame.
David’s acting was not only limited to the TV screen, but he also played roles in several movies such as “Peyton Place”, “The Big Circus” and “Love and Kisses”. The actor has left behind his wife, four sons and a daughter to mourn his death. A funeral service is scheduled to take place at the Pierce Brothers Westwood Mortuary on the Thursday 13th January.
