Updated Trends: Finally, yes finally Verizon has made the announcement to world that it will launch the most awaited Apple iPhone 4 early in the month of February 2011, which is exactly next month. There were loads rumours and news that stated, the Verizon iPhone will debut very soon, none of these publishers were confident enough of this fact, but the announcement by the wireless giant has brought everyone a sigh of relief.
The announcement was made by the President and Chief Operating Officer of Verizon, Lowell McAdam, who said “Today, two industry innovators are coming together to deliver something consumers have been hungry for for years, we are bringing to market the fruit of our strategic partnership with a giant in the market, and that is Apple.”
Apple had to manufacture a completely different iPhone 4 for Verizon, as the company uses a technology called CDMA, and not GSM which used by mostly all phones world wide. The phone is reported to be on preorder from the 3rd February for all Verizon customers and for the others from the 10th February.
