It is said that there is probability that small amount of liquid could leak from the braking mechanism’s master cylinder. So if the brake fluid does leak then it would lead to the brake warning lamp to illuminate. During this process of this fault, the driver of the vehicle would be felling very light footed on the brake pedal, and as well as in the vehicles braking performance, which on the other hand could be very dangerous.

Australia has said that it will make these affected vehicles pass through its own process before sending them for a recall. The models which have been affected with the faulty braking system are – 2005-2006 models of the Avalon, the 2004-2006 non-hybrid models of the Highlander, the Lexus RX330 and the 2006 Lexus GS300, IS250 and IS350 vehicles.
