American singer, songwriter and dancer, Britney Spears has confirmed that she is expecting her first child with her fiancé Sam Asghari. The news was confirmed on an Instagram post on April 11, 2022. Britney shared that she had started to gain weight when she was on a vacation in Maui with her fiancé after which she decided to take a pregnancy test and found that she was expecting.
The Hit Me Baby One More time singer is already a mother to 16 year old Sean Preston, 15 year old Jayden James from her earlier marriage with Kevin Federline. Britney added that she would not be going out much and would maintain a low profile to avoid the paparazzi. The Stronger singer also shared about her previous experience as a celebrity being pregnant and had suffered from perinatal depression. Spears shared that it was a horrible experience. Talking about her plans, the singer said that she would indulge in yoga everyday instead of going out and signed off writing, “Spreading lots of joy and love!!!” It was about five months back, when Britney was officially released from her conservatorship which makes it a good time to welcome a new member in the family.
During the hearing, the singer in her emotional speech expressed that she was compelled to get an IUD that had prevented her to become pregnant while she was still under conservatorship. Britney has earlier a number of times expressed about her wishes to have a child with Asghar and it seems like her wishes are soon going to be fulfilled.
In a social media post back in the month of November, the singer had hinted that she would like to have a young girl while expressing that she would like to have another baby soon. Britney Spears and Sam have been dating since 2016 and the later was always seen standing by the singer’s side like a rock as she fought her battle with conservatorship.
