Updated Trends: A Wildfire In Herriman South Lake County Utah Has Forced 1250 Homes To Evacuate

A massive wildfire has broke in Herriman, South Lake County, Utah, which has forced some 1250 homes to be evacuated from the region. The residents in the South Lake County were forced by the authorities to evacuate from the Herriman region. The officials have also asked the residents to avoid using the cellphones, as lines can be freed for emergency calls.

Salt Lake County sheriff’s Lt. Don Hutson, stated that the situation in Herriman is nothing but chaos, as he witnessed some homes to start catching flames. The officials have set an evacuation center at the Herriman High School, 11917 S. Mustang Trail Way (6000 West).

As of now the Mayor of Herriman, Josh Mills, has declared a state of emergency after looking at the situation in the region. Fire officials are working hard to put out the fire and that people were evacuated for their owns safety from the surrounding areas.
