Updated Trends: Taiwan All Set To Face Typhoon Fanapi
Taiwan is all set to face the on coming mid-strength Typhoon Fanapi, which is currently on the stage of forming into a full fledged typhoon. It is reported by the officials that Fanapi is going to be one of the strongest typhoons of this year, as wind speeds are predicted to reach around 191 kmph in Taiwan.
The weather officials have said that they storm system is nearing a typhoon category, and it will be approaching the island from the city of Hualien, Yilan and northern Taiwan Sunday morning. The storm predictions stated that the impact of the storm is bound to be felt almost on the whole island.
Last year in the month of August, Taiwan was hit with one of the worst Typhoons it had seen in the past five decades, Typhoons are now become a common natural phenomenon in the sea region near Taiwan. Typhoon Fanapi is said to be the 11th Typhoon that has formed near Taiwan this year.
