President Donald Trump and First Lady Melania Trump reportedly welcomed children from the military background and from other communities and adults at the White House for a trick-or-treat party on Halloween eve, October 30, 2017.
While Trump himself was dressed in his trademark style with a suit and a red tie, the First Lady wore a beige trench coat and were seen hanging out with skeletons, ghouls, ghosts, dinosaurs, spider webs, pumpkins and amid spooky music for the celebration of âHalloween at the White House 2017′.
Melania treated children with little candies and even interacted with them while also posing for pictures with these children and reportedly wished them all a Happy Halloween.
The cabinet members, White House Press Secretary were among others who joined the celebrations that have been a part of the White House history since years now.
Former president Barack Obama and former First Lady, Michelle Obama too maintained this tradition by welcoming kids from schools and defense families.
Trump has been mired in controversies ever since his administration began and off late has been on the radar of investigation by Special Counsel Robert Mueller and his team who will look into Trumpâs alleged involvement with Russia in the presidential campaign of 2016 that led to Trumpâs victory in the elections.
However, ahead of Halloween, Melania and her spokeswoman had been tweeting out the progress in the arrangements for the celebration, which were surreal and amazing, as the exterior of The White House was lit up with spider webs and little bats all over its walls and kids reportedly collected goodies and treats from the President and The First Lady themselves.
Melania was also reportedly greeted by someone dressed up as a T-Rex dinosaur. Meanwhile, Trump did not look scared, baffled or angry and no one could make out from his composed self on the Halloween eve anything about the investigations. In fact, Trump and Melania reportedly looked quite happy at their first Halloween celebrations at The White House.
Last week, Friday, October 27, the President held a pre-halloween party at the Oval Office with the kids of the White House reporters and reportedly said, âI cannot believe the media produced such beautiful kids. How the media did this, I donât know.”
