It’s finally here! After so much speculation, rumours and source talk, Taylor Swift has finally announced her album name and release date! Yes, Reputation will be the sixth full-length studio album from Swift, dropping on November 10. And what’s more, the first single is out this Thursday (August 24).
After Taylor Swift wiped out her social media accounts, she began posting videos of a snake’s tail, which Swifties know means she was up to something major. Then images were posted on social media, making the exciting announcement. The album cover art is also out. It’s black and white, with Swift gazing into the camera. And in the background are what looks like newspaper print font. The title of the album is also emblazoned on the front.
Fans were so quick to point out Swift’s reference to Kanye West – for one, there’s overlapping font, similar to West’s Life Of Pablo album. Second, the very album title, Reputation is also written in the same font as Life Of Pablo was. Not only that but the whole snake thing has something to do with Kim Kardashian West calling out Swift for a private conversation she shared with Kanye, which she had later denied in public.
This is getting so juicy.
After winning her $1 lawsuit against a DJ in a groping case in Denver, it looks like Taylor Swift is now calling the shots. She’s not afraid to go all out and show the haters what she’s made of.
Check out the reactions by fans, who were quick to compare Reputation with Life Of Pablo –

5. “The Life of Pablo” could have been way better as an album, but it’s a fun listen (while it lasted). Terrible album cover btw lol pic.twitter.com/g7PdZqR3SH
