Kim Kardashian once again found herself in the middle of a controversy, this time it involved alleged cocaine use. The KUWTK reality star posted a seemingly innocent but now infamous Kim Kardashian snapchat of herself in her hotel room. Eagle-eyed fans were quick to point out what looked like two cocaine lines on a black marble table behind the star.

However, Kardashian quickly shut down the rumors by taking to her Twitter and Snapchat accounts to disprove the allegations. Her first line of defense was that the lines were probably ‘candy mess’ left over from the candy she had purchased earlier for daughter North West. She tweeted – “I do not play with rumors like this so I’m gonna shut it down real quick. That’s sugar from our candy mess from Dylan’s candy shop.”

Upon further observation, she noticed that the lines were in fact a part of the design of the marble surface of the table! Kim then recorded a video of herself walking up to the table and showed fans that the lines had indeed been on the table all this while! Proving that it’s not candy mess (cocaine).

Close friend of the star, model Chrissy Teigen came out in defense of Kim Kardashian and said asked fans that if Kim was really a coke head, then wouldn’t she have done the drugs already? Why would she leave them on the table and take a snapchat instead? She tweeted – “What kind of coke head lines up the drugs and just…doesn’t do them.”

Kardashian attributes her soberness to her late father, who taught her how to be responsible. Kardashian says she has never done drugs and neither does she like the taste of alcohol. It’s not her ‘lifestyle’ she claims.

The mother-of-two had been showing fans what they can expect from the Kardashian Kids collection when the controversy began. Twitter users immediately started tweeting when they noticed the lines in the picture, with some even mocking her first explanation by saying, ‘yea candy’.
