For those who do not remember this day well, this is the day that the royal couple tied the knot at the West Minister Abbey in London. A glamorous reception took place afterwards at the Buckingham Palace with the elite of the world in attendance. Amongst the most memorable details of the event were the wedding gown designed by Sarah Burton and the first kiss.
Their First Royal Tour (July 2, 2011)
For their first royal tour as a married couple, the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge visited Canada. During this visit, they joined hundreds of thousands in celebrating Canada Day on Parliament Hill, dragon-boat raced in Prince Edwards Island, and made lobster soufflé in Montreal.
The Royal Couple is Expecting a Child! (December 3, 2012)
The public received news that the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge are expecting their first child. The announcement was made after the hospitalization of the Duchess for severe morning sickness in her first trimester.
Birth of Their Firstborn Child
The royal couple welcomed their first-born child on July 22, 2013. Named Prince George Alexander Louis of Cambridge, he is now third in line to the British throne. On October 3, Prince George was christened by water from River Jordan in London.
News of a Second Pregnancy
The Duke and Duchess of Cambridge gave joyful news that they are expecting a second child. Clearance House made the announcement on September 8, 2014, via Twitter.
Birth of Their Second Child (May 2, 2015)
The royal couple had their second born child. Born in the same hospital as her brother, she was named Princess Charlotte Elizabeth Diana of Cambridge and is the only daughter of the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge. She was christened on July 5, 2015, at Sandringham Estate.
