`The Falcon 9 rocket of SpaceX, was successfully launched in to the sky from Cape Canaveral on Wednesday morning, along with a space craft called ‘Dragon’. The Dragon, which is the first private space ship to return unmanned safely from the Earth orbit, landed in to the Pacific after three hours.
The founder of SpaceX, Elon Musk said, “It was just mind-blowingly awesome.” The head of the Planetary Society, Bill Nye, also applauded the success of Falcon 9. Falcon 9’s success has also relieved NASA, who is searching for its clear mission and is worried about its budget in a tough economy.
Reports state that of things work out well in future, then cargo ships like Dragon will be handed over the responsibility of carrying the supplies to and from the International Space Station. Sources have claimed that the private companies like SpaceX can do the job in a much lower cost than the government.
