What not to eat?

Although there is no particular food that could influence your illness, but you need to remember that your body at this time is trying to fight an infection. Make sure that you avoid any junk or processed food with lots of salt and sugar. While you are already feeling crappy due to the illness, consumption of such food will make your condition worse. There are also possibilities that it might increase the inflammation in the body. However, occasional fried food in limits should not do any harm.

It is also advised to stay away from alcohol as it might dehydrate your body fast which is already struggling to fight an infection. It could also contribute towards body inflammation and make your condition worse.
