Updated Trends: Google States Automated Systems Possibly Exaggerated Blockage In China
In response to a report followed after China had blocked all the search services that were rendered by Google in its country, Google states that the problem was a bit over exaggerated by it automated system. Jill Hazelbaker, Google’s director of Corporate Communications stated that the way Google’s machines tried to analyze the problem in China, there may be a possibility that their machines might have overestimated the problem.
The Automated Status Report is not a real time estimation tool, which means Google would assess Google China only once a day, and that too on the Pacific standard time, which is normally in their evening hours. The news that China had blocked Google’s services in their country had spark controversies all over the world.
It has been just three weeks that China renewed Google’s license in its country. A new report from the automated status report, suggested on the 29th of July, the interference of the Chines government in the company was the worst, since they had confrontation with the government officials had begun.
