Updated Trends: US-South Korea Naval Exercise Not Formidable For North Korea
Pyongyang states that the major naval exercise that is going to take place between South Korea and the US, would be posing dangerous threat to the region of Korea. A total of 20 ships and submarines and a group of 100 air crafts would be participating in the four day naval exercise in the Sea of Japan. N.Korea made it clear that the new sanctions laid down by the US, would be violation of a statement issued by the US, after the ship sinking incident.

China has also states strong concerns over the naval exercise that is going to take place in the Yellow Sea after some time. The US would be including a Nuclear powered aircraft carrier in the exercise, which has also become a point of concern in the region.
On the other hand, the new sanction which have been kept forward by the US in context of N. Korea, would be stressing on the sales and purchase of N. Korea’s military weapons which include arms and ammunition. And this would help prevent any nuclear proliferation by the N. Koreans.
