Clear and fresh-looking skin is what most of us dream about, but with hectic schedules and on-the-go lifestyles, most people do not have the time to indulge in time-consuming skincare treatments. Cleanser and moisturizer should be the two must-have products at all times, but if they do not do the trick, a few home remedies can save the day.
1. Tomatoes/tomato pulp – tomato is useful in many ways, as the acidity that it contains will help the skin to dry up acne. Along with that, tomato is rich in vitamins A, C and K, as well as lycopene, which are found in many various medications intended for acne healing. Try slicing one tomato open and put a piece of it on the problematic areas.
2. Honey and cinnamon – honey helps kill bacteria and eliminates acne, while cinnamon has great and beneficial properties which act as an anti-inflammatory and anti-clotting agent to your skin. Simply mix the two ingredients and make a face mask which will help your skin to repair damage.
3. Lemon juice – high acidity lemons contain not only allows pimples to dry out, but it also helps with killing bacteria. Lemon provides a calming effect to the skin and the vitamin C it contains maintains glowing and healthy skin. Try squeezing a little bit of lemon juice onto a cotton ball and apply it to problematic areas.
4. Cucumber – they contain 95% of water and can be used to clean pores and remove dead skin cells. Try grinding one cucumber and mix it with water before applying to your face.
