Acid reflux, which is also known as acidity, is the formation of extra gasses in the stomach that causes discomfort and stomach pain. It is usually the result of unhealthy or untimely eating habits.   1. Cold milk – One of the best natural remedy is to consume cold milk. It is the presence of calcium in the milk that prevents from the formation of hydrochloric acid in the stomach. It provides instant relief from the pain and uneasiness. The best way to consume is to have low-fat milk without any added sugar.
  2. Coconut water – This is not just a great way to hydrate your glands but is also helpful to ease the burning sensation caused by acid reflux. The potassium content in coconut water helps in balancing the PH of the stomach while providing relief to the stomach.
  3. Lemon, ginger and basil concoction – Lemon and ginger have been used as remedies for a number of ailments since ages and also has benefits for the digestive health. It is anti-bacterial and anti-inflammatory and helps to ease the symptoms of the condition. You have to boil equal amounts of basil leaves, ginger and  lemon in a cup of water.
