Updated Trends: 1500 Filling Stations Running Out Of Fuel Amidst France Strikes
Some 1500 filling stations across the country are witnessing acute fuel shortage amidst the ongoing France Strikes. Most of the oil refineries and transport companies have gone on strikes, which has caused a lot of inconvenience to the people of the county. Unions have organized numerous protests against the pension reforms by the French government, but still there is no positive sign from the government.
The President of France, Mr. Sarkozy, has called in an emergency meeting to discuss about the solutions to contain the fuel problem of the country. Exxon Mobil has said that the country has now stepped into a very critical stage, as energy resources are running short.
Transporters too joined the strike recently and this has reportedly made matters worse. It is said if this situation continues, then the country will be falling into a state of emergency very soon, as appropriate resources are not reaching people in time.
