A number of people often complain about feeling lethargic or lack of energy while doing their everyday work. People who suffer from such issues the most are the ones who spend majority of their time in the office. It is not always possible to rule out a reason for the fatigue and tiredness but there are ways to deal with it. Here are a few ways you could deal with tiredness and fatigue while you are trying to work in the office.

1. Balanced diet – Make sure that the diet you consume has food that increases your energy levels and does not make you feel lethargic. Also make sure that you are eating fresh and pair unrefined carbohydrates with protein so you can maintain the energy levels. You can also include plenty of fibre and anti-inflammatory foods.

2. Exercise – Make sure that you exercise on a regular basis. It releases endorphins in the body that naturally helps to boost the energy levels and helps you to have high-quality sleep. Make sure that you spend at least two hours in moderate to intense workout sessions in a week.

3. Drink more water – Drinking water helps in eliminating the feeling of tiredness. It helps the body to remain hydrated. Dehydration can lead to low energy levels and could also put a negative effect on your sleep.

4. Cut down caffeine – Caffeine can be found in tea and coffee, the intake of which gives you more energy but it remains for a limited time. Reducing the intake can help you with your energy levels in the long run. The natural energy levels of the body will slowly kick in.

5. Give importance to your sleep – Your sleep patterns are vital for the body and is important to maintain energy levels the next day. You can indulge in some gentle stretches before you go to bed or just relax. You could also practice guided meditation before going to bed.
