Some people face a situation where they are happy at a moment, but then suddenly they are hit by a wave of sadness and turn silent. People who have suffered from anxiety at some point, very well know about the struggle. Panic attacks and mood swings are common in anxiety and can cause more complications. If you are one of those who are always on the verge of being hit by anxiety, then here are a few things that you need to stay away from as they can trigger the condition.

1. Too much caffeine – People who love coffee and tea and have a habit of drinking multiple cups of the beverage in a day, then you need to reconsider the count. A steaming hot cup of coffee/tea can be a great soother for the moment and also gives you the much needed kick to begin your day. But too much of it can make things worse.

2. Anger – It is natural to feel angry when circumstances are not in favour, but you need to remember that being agitated can trigger your anxiety. All you can do it to control your anger or just leave the place. Alternatively you can also start counting backwards that will help you to calm down.

3. Low productivity – Low productivity on the work front can play the trigger towards anxiety. If you are not productive enough at work, then the guilt can bother you and make your restless. Make sure that you complete your deadlines as it helps to calm your mind.

4. Irregular sleep patterns – Sleep is important for the brain and the body. If you are following irregular sleep patterns then the body would get the signals and would respond in a negative way. People who are night owls should consider to bring a change in their schedules. Early to bed and early to rise is the best formula for a healthy body.
