Updated Trends: John Lennon’s Application For US Citizenship Seized By The FBI
The FBI has seized the fingerprint card and the application of John Lennon, which he had issued for the citizenship of US. The antiquity of John Lennon was on auction during a raid of the FBI. The documents date back to 1976, and was expected to fetch $100,000 in the auction. Pete Siegel said that he does not understand why is it so necessary that the government want it back.
A catalogue of the auction was published, after which the FBI had asked Mr. Siegel that they wanted to come and inspect the card on that day. But that day, the Officials from the FBI and the Department of Homeland Security showed up at their place instead.
It was very mysterious to see these officials at the gallery in Manhattan. The FBI said that there is nothing to do with John Lennon, its only a government document that they have seized. The FBI officials have said that any document that is in connection with the US government, even if it is John Lennon’s, it should not be in hands of the public outside, but it is government property.
