Updated Trends: Security Providers In Afghanistan Are Funding Taliban Says Senate Armed Services Committee
In a shocking revelation, it was reveled that the security providers in Afghanistan are heavily funding the Taliban insurgents in the region. It was disclosed by the Senate Armed Services Committee, that the Security contractors have failed to provide legible results and they often end up hiring the anti socials. The Committee is demanding strict action against this process.
As per the report, there are some 26,000 security personnels working in Afghanistan and 9 out of 10 work for the US government. These guards are kept for the protection of almost everything in the country, but then it is known that most of them are corrupt.
Democratic Senator Carl Levin, states that it is because they have kept a lot of trust on these security personnel in the country, that they end up having connections with insurgents in the region. It is a point of great thought that is needed to enlighten this topic, as such connection with Taliban will be threatening the security of the troops in the country.
