If Nicole just shifts a bit from its path, then it will be bringing 7 inches of rain in New York, something that can create havoc in the region. Nicole is reported to be a fast moving storm, and if the situation predicted remains the same then there could be flash floods in the region on a full score.

Authorities have stated that the people residing in flood prone areas should be prepared for the upcoming danger, or rather to be safe, they should move to a higher elevation. But the storm is also a boon for the citizens of the state, as the three month long dry spell will be absorbed by heavy rains, we feel that the storm should bring in relief for the people rather than danger.
