Updated Trends: Spanish Air Strike Affects Cardiff Airport Flights

The ongoing 24 hour Spanish Air Strike has affected the flights of the Cardiff airport very hard. The strike by the Spanish Air Traffic Controllers has gone off really bad and is scheduled to end within 24 hours now. Flights commencing from Alicante and Malaga have been cancelled and the flights from Antalya and Fuerteventura have been further delayed.

The 24 hour strike began at 23.00 BST, and will end at the same time next day. The strike is a result of the Spanish Government’s austerity measures towards the airlines. Passengers who are to take off from Spain, are advised to check in with the airport authorities or their ticket agents for further information.

The strike has affected the people tremendously and that many have been stranded on airports. People have also cancelled their trips during their strike which has in turn caused anger with the passengers. The flights are said to come back in to normal service schedule after the strike is over, and for the mean time people will have to bare the inconvenience.
