It looks like the glorious days of music are coming back. Former collaborators, Eminem and Pink are reported to be working on a new track together. The yet-untitled single will most likely make an appearance on the Detroit rapper’s upcoming much-awaited album.
Senior VP/Programing at iHeartRadio Michigan, Tony Travatto, dropped the news while interviewing on the Detroit radio show, Mojo In The Morning. “He says that there is a new Eminem, Pink song coming out, that he said is unbelievable. He said he got a chance to be one of the first to hear it and it’ll be coming out here very soon.”
Eminem and Pink had previously worked together on a rap-rock mash-up called Won’t Back Down that featured on the former’s 2010 hit selling album, Recovery.
Pink had earlier given an interview after the success of Won’t Back Down, saying about her collaborator: “I think he’s one of the most poetic, ballsy and hilarious people this industry has ever seen. I was always afraid he’d pick me as a target [in one of many diss tracks], but he’s always been nice to me and finally approached me to be on the album, so I must have done something right.”
Eminem had also heaped praises for Pink, saying about her once in an interview, “I’ve always respected what she does. When we did the track, I heard her on it and knew vocally she’d smash it.”
Pink released her latest album, Beautiful Trauma that has already spawned the hit, What About Us. Rapper Eminem is said to be dropping his album later in the year through his Shady/Aftermath/Interscope record label under Universal Music Group (UMG).
