A Boeing 747-400 cargo plane crash that took place in Dubai on Friday, September 3, 2010 has killed two people. The airport officials informed that the crash happened soon after the plane took off from Dubai airport and those who got killed in the mishap are the crew members.
The aircraft belonged to the United Parcel Service(UPS). The Boeing 747 are aircrafts that are used by the freight industry and the Boeing 747 – 400 is a extended range version of the company.
Boeing has stopped the production of its 747-400 aircrafts but still are available for the purchase and are averagely priced at $253 million.
Eye witness reports say that the plane crashed barely minutes after take-off, and turned into a fireball once it crashed.
