Cleaning blinds is now easier with these quick cleaning tips.
Blinds are one of the most things to clean, whether it is in the house or office, the tiny crevices are the hardest to reach and inevitably there is always that one portion that remains unclean.
Here are a few ways which can help you to clean blinds properly and easily.
1. Feather duster cleaning – Do not take much pains if your blinds have just a thin layer of dust. Use a feather duster to dust them off as it is sufficient to clean them up. When cleaning, open the blinds and dust it from both sides.
2. Use old socks to clean – To protect your hands, wear an old sock so that you can reach the hard corners too. Spray some cleaning solution on the blinds and run the covered hand over one blind at a time. Solution of half water and half vinegar can also be a effective.
3. Vacuuming – Regularly vacuuming the blinds can prevent extra and hard dust on the blinds. Make sure that you vacuum regularly and do it with the blinds closed. Vacuum the blinds from both the sides.
4. Damp sponge cleaning – You do not have to remove the blinds to clean them. Dampen a sponge with some warm water and wipe off the dust from the blinds. You can also use luke warm soap water to clean.
