Updated Trends: National Memorial Service For New Zealand’s Dead Miners

The New Zealand government would be holding a National Memorial Service for the 29 dead Pike River Coal miners, Prime Minister John Key stated. This is a moment when all the citizens of New Zealand would be coming together and will remember the 29 miners who lost their lives underground. This is also a national tribute and gives credible respect to the deceased miners and their respective families.

The officials expect that at least 5000 people would present at the Omato race course in South Island West Bank town of Greymouth, where the scheduled service will take place. It is a serious blow to the country’s industrial and mining sector and also in addition to this, the history of New Zealand.

A separate funeral service is going to be held at a Cathedral in Christchurch on the 6th December. This is the time when all New Zealanders would witness how nature and death can come to so many men at one particular time. Some 1000 people are expected to attend the funeral service in Christchurch on the 6th December.
