Updated Trends: Cruise Ship ‘Carnival Splendor’ Finally Reaches Shores, Passengers Recount Horrific Experience
The stranded cruise ship ‘Carnival Splendor’, has finally reached the shores and most of the passengers are really scared to recite their horrific experience on the ship. This ship was stranded hundreds of miles away from the American and Mexican shores, and it was a vacation from hell of the people on board the Carnival Splendor.
Some 3299 people on board are brought back safe and sound, but they are really shaken up to recall what they experience on that ship. One passenger recited that the smell on the ship was like feces, and it was very tough for everyone to stay put. The smell was very bad and it was almost everywhere.
Another person stated that it smelt like sewage, and that she was done with the cruising experience. The ship was adrift some 300 kms from the coast of San Diego as the engine room went ablaze. It took some 32 hours to limp the ship back to the port and which has also given its passengers a sigh of relief.
