Israeli President Shimon Peres’ Wife Sonia Peres Dies At 87

Updated Trends: Sonia Peres, the wife of the current Israeli President Shimon Peres, died at the age of 87 at her home in Tel Aviv. Sonia was keeping ill from sometime, and this is the sole reason she was not able to even attend her husband’s inaugural ceremony. She has left behind three children, and eight grandchildren in the family.

Shimon’s wife hardly faced the camera or the media, she preferred to stay behind her husband and be a driving force for him, but in the quite. Her death was reported when one of her Grandchild had returned home, and found her body lifeless, this shocked him and immediately informed everyone.

Her family members state that she was close to almost everyone in the house, and she would meet everyone almost everyday. President Shimon too loved her very much, and he just cannot believe that she has passed away. She was born in the year 1923 in Ukraine and had married Shimon in the year 1945 in Israel.
