Starbucks launches new slushies on their sunset menu
Starbucks has always been a pace setter when it comes to ingenuity and innovation. This pole position is not going to be surrendered anytime soon, if the new inventions in their drink factory are anything to go by. There are some New Frozen Slushies that have hit town and coming to an outlet near you soon -delighting your summer like never before.
These granitas namely; The Teavana Youthberry White Tea, The Strawberry Lemon Limeade and The Caramel Espresso Granita along with Chocolate Brownie Trifle and Strawberry Shortcake Trifle, are part of the chain’s new Sunset Menu, running in all participating Canada and U.S. stores. This offering is only for a limited 12 days window starting from 14TH to 26th June.
This mouth watering slushie is a creative mingling of tropical pineapple, white tea, hibiscus and strawberry lemon limeade flavor topping some finely shaved ice. This select Italian inspired treat, will set you back a paltry 3.95 dollars but undoubtedly value for money. The unmistakably pleasant acai scent will waft through your nostrils even before the first spoonful hits your palate.
At the same pricing of Teavana, Starbucks’ patrons will afford their taste buds yet another sizzling pleasure of their taste buds in the Strawberry Lemon Limeade Granita. This mixture of a lemonade flavored scoop, finely shaved ice, slices of strawberry and homemade limeade, is also gaining traction despite the mixed reviews it has elicited from testers. The piquant and revitalizing taste is a welcomed refreshment on any hot summer outing with friends and family.
Also deservedly stands out amongst this trio of newly unveiled slushies by this household coffee brand, is the Caramel Espresso Granita . At a few cents cheaper, chocolate lovers are in for a lifetime treat with a scoop of finely shaved ice topped with bold espresso shots, a splash of cream and finished with caramel drizzle. Its best enjoyed during Starbuck’s happy hour sessions from 3pm.
